Job Summary:

Radiant Insurance is the in-house independent agency for Olympus Insurance Company. This role will be responsible for producing new business sales for new clients, new lines of business for existing clients, and remarketing existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with the ability to clearly communicate and make recommendations based on the individual insurance needs. They should be highly driven and want the opportunity to maximize their earning potential. Starting base salary for this position is $45K - $55K depending on experience. This position is also eligible for commission.

Job Description/Essential Functions

• Builds and maintains a cordial and professional relationship with our clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify client needs and market appropriate products.
• Consistently meet established sales quotas, productivity, and quality standards.
• Prepare quotes and submissions, including applications and various support documents. Ensure document compliance from new and existing customers.
• Coordinate and handle administrative workflows in conjunction with support team(s) to establish accurate and prompt response to service issues.
• Answer all incoming agency, customer, and carrier inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize excellent communication skills and ability to explain insurance jargon in simple terms, while providing exceptional service to our clients/prospects.
• Network to cultivate relationships with professionals within the real estate, mortgage, and builder industries.
• Available to work outside normal business hours for catastrophic events as it pertains to the business.

Skills/Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years experience working in an insurance agency.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Producer within the industry and a proven track record of generating sales.
• Florida 220 or 2044 Property & Casualty license.
• Experience with agency management software (QQ Catalyst preferred).
• Working technical knowledge of personal lines coverage, primarily homeowners.
• Experience utilizing online rating software (Quote Rush, Fetch).
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record check.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
• Administrative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain, organize and explain information.
• Ability to interpret insurance coverage, procedures, and policies.
• Ability to handle and deescalate difficult situations.
• Ability to remain professional throughout daily interactions.
• Ability to meet goals and deadlines.
