Summary

IGT is seeking a Pre-Press Manager in the Lakeland, FL area! The Pre-Press Manager leads the Pre-Press team in the conversion of digital media to print ready media. This person will oversee productivity, quality, and general tasking of the Pre-Press team as well as possess the ability to perform in each position within the team.

IGT Lakeland is a manufacturing facility that designs and prints instant scratch off lottery tickets for the U.S. and international lotteries!

Responsibilities

LEADERSHIP

  • Directly supervise the PrePress team to ensure all team members are performing in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain, manage and develop personnel through effective hiring, training, performance management, and coaching
  • Work independently to resolve the day-to-day operational issues utilizing job knowledge and expertise
  • Responsible for the health and safety of all the employees and ensuring compliance with established regulations
  • Represent the Company to customers and the community
  • Maintain and provide support and training in various systems

COMPLIANCE

  • Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations that affect operations, while ensuring safety
  • Implement and enforce ISO level work instructions while participating in audits as needed
  • Adhere to and enforce compliance to IGT and departmental policies, rules, and procedures at all times

PRODUCTION

  • Review all jobs to ensure quality output and ensure they adhere job specifications
  • Work with the Production Planner/Scheduler and Creative Design to improve quality and efficiency
  • Ensure production schedule is being maintained and that PrePress tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain inventory of plating and prepress materials to meet production demands
  • Assist and oversee the effective configuration, operation, and maintenance of the digital proofing systems
  • Verify color calibrations, workflows, RIP files, and troubleshoot any issues
  • Review draft working papers in their entirety to ensure accuracy
  • Must be able to work with external vendors effectively and efficiently

Qualifications

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

  • Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

  • 3+ years of printing, prepress, graphic design, or related experience
  • 3+ years as a leader, supervisor, or manager

Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

  • Skilled in graphics software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Strong knowledge of color adaptations for the printing process
  • Knowledge of PrePress and PreMedia principles
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)

  • Higher education or training in the field of graphic design, print media, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of ESKO and GMG software

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $60,989 - $200,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
