The Opportunity
The Production Manager will assist and manage specific aspects of production process.
What you´ll get to do
Cost seasonal collections for domestic styles and accessories utilizing a PLM system
Liaise with Product Development team and accessories designers to clarify and troubleshoot style details
Assist with garment engineering & cost negotiations to meet or exceed company margin goals
Record fitting notes for all styles
Maintain BOMs with consumption changes after grading or changes made in fittings
Collaborate with in-house and freelance patternmakers to troubleshoot & achieve best possible results for PPS and bulk production
Update care and content information for all styles in PLM system
Assist in allocating domestic styles to factories
Issue domestic pleating or special process POs
Issue domestic grading orders
Collaborate with Raw Materials Manager regarding fabric and trim deliveries
Maintain & update domestic and accessories delivery schedule through regular communication with contractors and vendors
Manage PPS and bulk process for domestic and accessories styles: Cut ticket/PO issuing and receiving, invoice management
Manage style details & spec spreadsheet for E-Comm
Assist in year-end inventory procedures
We´d love to meet you if you have
5-10 years Apparel production experience
Luxury apparel and accessory production experience a plus
Basic understanding of patternmaking & fit
Experience using a PLM system required
Experience in garment costing
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Proactive and extremely detail-oriented

A reasonable estimate of the current salary is $80,000-$95,000 USD.
