Project Controller

LHH is currently recruiting for a Project Controller for one of our clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have Construction industry experience along with strong full-cycle accounting experience including percentage of completion accounting. The role will be fully onsite.

Job Duties include:

• Perform general accounting and month-end close processing
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform percentage of completion accounting on individual construction projects
• Travel to project sites to set up accounting for new construction projects
• Perform monthly variance analysis, and present findings to management

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of accounting experience including percentage of completion accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Must have Construction Industry experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get into the details
• Able to travel up to 30% to domestic project sites
