Property Control and Supply Services
This position require someone to be able to perform technical supply management work (e.g., inventory and storage management, cataloging, property utilization, excess property, and procurement) related to local supply activities. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions in keeping with supply operations being both accurate and current and involves a thorough knowledge of applicable governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions. The work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines in order to plan and forecast inventory needs, as well as recommend, and justify property requests under changing mission requirements. Decisions are made by applying established methods or techniques; by drawing on a knowledge of appropriate precedents; or by obtaining guidance and instructions relating to supply operations and program requirements while following established regulations or procedures.
The Candidate shall possess the skills to perform Property Control and Supply Services as follows:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education
2 Year/ Associates Degree
Minimum Years And Type Of Experience
Prefer a minimum of two years’ experience in property control and supply acquisition and inventory, particularly at a military base either as an active duty member of the armed forces or as a civilian contract employee.
Other Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
Ability to perform procurement activities to include the accurate preparation of documents and reports for supplies, services, labor, equipment, and materials.
Ability to perform supply functions such as research, estimation, requisition, inventory, issue, receipt, and property control.
Ability to resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and finding solutions.
Ability to understand and follow directions from the Project Manager.
Experience In Operating The Following Computer Software Programs
