Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 per year

Additional Compensation: 20% Bonus eligible

Job Summary

As the Regional Vice President of Operations, you will oversee our land-based operations in Alaska, directing and implementing operational programs, policies, and procedures. Your primary focus will be ensuring contract compliance, profitability, safety, and client satisfaction across multiple accounts in the United States. This role involves managing all operational and business activities, either directly or through subordinate managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage catering and facilities management services at multiple locations, ensuring compliance with client service level agreements.
  • Achieve financial targets, including budget and unit cost goals for each service at all assigned locations.
  • Supervise District and Project Managers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, managing operational needs, and meeting client expectations.
  • Oversee personnel management, laundry management, and resource allocation, ensuring adequate staffing and detailed manpower plans.
  • Lead Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives, promoting safe practices and tracking proactive behaviors at each site.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, setting and delivering on satisfaction metrics and standards.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives as per contract requirements.
  • Travel regularly (50%+) to client sites across multiple regions, managing key performance indicators and completing necessary documentation.
  • Submit financial documentation for account management, execute contract scope management, and effectively manage subcontractors.
  • Develop and execute project plans using project management software.
  • Supervise 4-5 direct reports and up to 500 total employees, providing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in food service management, particularly with a catering background in offshore and/or remote site environments.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% within the assigned territory.
  • Hospitality or hotel operations experience.
  • Regional or multi-unit management experience.
