Publisher and Editor-In-Chief at The Westfield Leader & Union County HAWK
The Westfield Leader and Union County HAWK are seeking a reporter to join our team. We are family owned, award winning, weekly newspapers covering Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Cranford, Clark and the Union County area since 1890.
We are seeking journalists who are passionate and excited about local news and the opportunity to publish in print and online. Candidates must be able to attend in person evening meetings, spot under the radar stories, take photographs, develop sources, prepare updates for the web and social media, while working in a cooperative team environment.
Applicants should be prepared to cover multiple beats. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines a must.

Valid Driver's License Required.
Must be able to attend in-person evening meetings in Union County, New Jersey.
