Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and reporting processes of the organization. This position requires a high level of expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.

Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and reporting processes of the organization. This position requires a high level of expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Make recommendations for cost control and improvement of financial processes.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations and inter-company transactions.
- Provide documentation and support for audit inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Streamline financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other departments.
- Proficient in Quickbooks
- Hospitality industry experience preferred (Restaurants, Festivals, or Live Entertainment Venues)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
