Senior Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Real Estate client in Dallas to hire a Controller for an in-office role. This position offers a salary range of $100-150K, depending on experience, plus a bonus and an excellent benefits package. This company is rapidly expanding through acquisitions, offering significant potential for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records for multiple properties.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis.
• Manage treasury functions.
• Accurately document and analyze financial transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial, management, and investor reports.
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Engage professionally with vendors, clients, and external partners.
• Enhance efficiencies by improving processes and procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of accountants.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA certification or candidacy is advantageous.
• A minimum of 4 years of comprehensive accounting experience is required.
• Experience in property accounting or possession of a CPA license is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with property accounting software is a plus.
