What You'll Do: Under the direction of the Director of FPR&A and CFO, the Sr. Financial Analyst will assist in developing the annual budget, manage contract refunding applications, and monitor government and private programs for fiscal compliance. This role serves as a lead business partner to assigned programs or departments, providing strategic insights and analyses to optimize funding and ensure sound fiscal decisions. Support the Director of FPRA as backup Fiscal Officer for Early Childhood Education contracts & grants, managing compliance, budgeting, billing, and analysis.
Build financial reporting capabilities and provide insights to Executive Leadership to drive business decisions.
Manage full-cycle finance functions for projects/programs, including contract/grant reporting, financial reporting, year-end audit prep, and budget/forecast activities.
Oversee assigned contracts, grants, and fiscal sponsor relationships, prepare financial statements/invoices, and address inquiries from contract/grant managers.
Serve as liaison between Finance and cost centers, programs, and projects to monitor fiscal progress, provide variance analysis, and prepare budget modifications.
Complete and review cost allocations for projects, grants, and contracts, making recommendations as needed.
Conduct revenue recognition and accounts receivable reconciliation for assigned projects, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Submit month-end billing summaries and reimbursement requests to funding sources, and prepare expenditure reports for government agencies and foundations.
Support program leadership and fund development teams with proposed budgets for grant applications and contract renewals, and educate stakeholders on regulations and fiscal best practices.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and four (4) years of relevant work experience with government contracts and grants required.
Must have budgeting experience as it relates to budget preparation, reporting, monitoring, and allocation of shared cost.
