Senior Vice President of Transitions

Join our Mission to Lead Transitions in the Senior Living Sector

As a Vice President of Transitions at our organization, you will be at the forefront of managing new developments, transitions, owner relations, facilities, and culinary initiatives within the senior living sector. Your role as the primary point of contact for our owner partners is vital in establishing and nurturing positive relationships that drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance community performance.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to devise proformas for acquisition communities and communicate anticipated performance to support and regional teams.
  • Lead the smooth transition of acquisition and disposition of communities by coordinating between teams to ensure seamless processes, platforms, and systems during due diligence and initial operational phases.
  • Coordinate essential visits, training, meetings, etc., during the due diligence and acquisition processes.
  • Supervise the development and execution of transition budgets.
  • Ensure successful openings of new development communities by managing resources within established timelines.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and growth of community teams during pre-open timelines.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to meet expected pre-lease deposit goals.
  • Engage in ownership calls with regional leaders to facilitate effective communication and strengthen owner relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in multi-site operations, preferably in a VP or above role.
  • Experience in senior living or hospitality industries highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L.
  • Proficient in developing relationships with partners, owners, and investors.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in computer software and internet platforms, including email and Excel.
  • Passion for working with older adults and their families.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Projects a positive and professional image.

  • Occasional travel and flexibility for weekend, evening, or night shifts may be necessary to ensure operational coverage.
