Job Summary
This is a remote role. The Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy and leading the expansion of business in the Events industry.
Essential Functions

40% travel is required within the United States.

Job Summary
This is a remote role. The Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy and leading the expansion of business in the Events industry.
Essential Functions
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and opportunities for growth.
- Lead market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive the acquisition of new clients and business opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship building, and networking.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals that contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company’s market position and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and offerings that meet market demands.
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or Advanced degree/certification preferred but not required
- 10+ years of working experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role within the Events industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving Sales targets
40% travel is required within the United States.
