We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Corporate Finance with a solid academic background and a desire to influence a cleaner future through the electrification of the transportation space. This role will lead a growing finance team and partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to help secure the success of the company. The individual must be innovative and highly analytical with deep business acumen and process orientation with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You Will

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and consolidation process for Lucid and drive analysis that delivers financial insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Develop key performance indicators, analytical tools, dashboards and models to help Lucid track, assess and prioritize performance.
  • Preparation and support for senior leadership and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Drive continual process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization and automation to improve the effectiveness of financial planning and forecasting activities.
  • Facilitate operating team alignment and decision making, present data in cohesive reports that provide clear communication and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define action plans for financial and business analysis findings.
  • Actively participate with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.
  • Partner closely with all internal stakeholders and operating teams to provide clear financial inputs and provide guidance on operational decisions.
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and projects with financial analysis and business case development providing strategic and tactical advice / feedback to leadership.
  • Provide new perspective leveraging technology to identify and propose opportunities for improvement across processes and business functions.
  • Build, manage and develop a high performing team and encourage team to challenge assumptions.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • At least 12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in analytical roles such as Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consultancy or FP&A.
  • 8+ years of managerial experience including hiring, mentoring and performance management.
  • Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results.
  • Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to be collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple organizations, creating effective internal business partnerships.
  • Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Established ability using Microsoft Office suite, particularly high proficiency with Excel, and prior systems experience preferably with SAP.
  • Sr. Finance Manager experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier, is a huge plus!

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$164,000—$240,000 USD
