SUMMARY
The Intern under the leadership of their respective managers will participate in on-going projects and collaborate with associates across different businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTING & FINANCE INTERN
Intern will be exposed to and involved in the following aspects of accounting and finance to include, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial planning and analysis and Treasury. Interns will collaborate with various groups within multiple companies and gain exposure to different accounting and financial systems.
CORPORATE MEETINGS & INCENTIVES INTERN
Intern will be exposed to and involved in the following aspects of event planning, to include, budgeting and reconciliation, registration and attendee administration, logistics and planning, vendor interface, creative design, materials management, on-site support and other duties as assigned.
ENGINEERING INTERN
Intern will be exposed to a high flow automotive manufacturing environment, involved in developing work standards, and challenged to help continuously improve our installation processes by utilizing the latest industry technology.
HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN
Intern will be exposed to a variety of HR Functions to include, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organizational Development, and HR Systems & Administration. Interns will help engage, attract and retain our most valuable assets, our associates. Interns will also participate in projects and collaborate across a variety of businesses.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERN
Intern will be exposed to a variety of IT disciplines including, but not limited to: Helpdesk/Desktop Support, Security, Software Development, Software Quality Assurance, DevOps, and more. Interns will participate in on-going projects and collaborate with various groups within multiple companies.
MARKETING INTERN
Intern will be exposed to and involved in the following aspects of Digital Marketing to include, several key marketing projects focused on the growth of the company while gaining experience with market research, in depth marketing analysis, design, website support, and marketing automation.
SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS INTERN
Intern will be exposed to a variety of activities to include, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Vendor and Contract Management, and Logistics. Interns will participate in on-going projects and collaborate with associates across different businesses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Accounting.
Overall GPA 3.0 or above
CORPORATE MEETINGS & INCENTIVES INTERN
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism
Overall GPA 3.0 or above
ENGINEERING INTERN
Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
Overall GPA 2.8 or above
HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
GPA 3.0 or above
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERN
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
Overall GPA 3.0 or above
MARKETING INTERN
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising or related field.
GPA 3.0 or above
SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS INTERN
Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
GPA 3.0 or above
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*
Valid Driver's License required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the facility. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business purposes. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
