JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have a passion for building successful brands and a proven track record in driving growth? We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Trade & Growth Marketing Manager to support our marketing efforts across a diverse landscape. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, fostering strong agency partnerships, and delivering measurable results.
The ideal candidate will be located in North America and must be comfortable with extensive travel throughout the USA.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Agency Management:
- Day-to-day management and coordination with multiple agencies including design, activation, and performance marketing agencies
- Develop clear briefs and project scopes for each agency, outlining objectives, target audience, and key deliverables.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring agencies stay on track.
- Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between internal marketing teams and agencies.
- Stay informed about the latest marketing trends and agency capabilities to identify potential opportunities and partners.
- Manage agency fees and ensure efficient use of the marketing budget allocated to agencies.
- Conduct agency performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain strong working relationships.
Trade Marketing:
- Development of channel-wise and chain-wise marketing plans based on market insights and inputs from regional sales and distributor teams
- Lead the development of innovative trade material and programs to increase awareness, recall and trial at store level
- Assign, manage and track trade budget spending and suggest optimizations and improvements
- Lead a team and coordinate with third-party agencies on all merchandising and regional trade deployments
Field and event marketing:
- Lead the development of a trade show, event and on-ground activation strategy including scheduling, negotiation, design, budgeting and implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, business development) and external parties to source, organize and deploy engaging activations and events (including trade shows) to build awareness and generate trial
- Build and track KPIs every week to ensure all activities are proceeding and planned and present optimization plans where needed
Ecommerce and growth marketing
- Lead the management of our own and e-tailer partner platforms including relationship management, negotiation, coordination and campaign management for each partner
- Plan, propose and execute SEO, SEM, email and paid media campaigns for own ecommerce platform growth
- Build and track KPIs every week to ensure all activities are proceeding and planned and present optimization plans where needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a brand and marketing management role, with a proven track record of success in the reduced-risk product/tobacco/nicotine category (preferred).
- 3 of field marketing experience leading on-ground activations including consumer events and trade shows including preexisting relationships with agencies and show personnel.
- 3-5 years working on digital marketing including growth, e-commerce, paid, SEO, SEM and email marketing
- Knowledge of regional marketing best practices, nuances, laws and the ability to tailor strategies for diverse markets across the USA
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid advertising, email marketing).
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire a global team.
- Data-driven and analytical approach to marketing, with a strong focus on measurable results.
- Experience with market research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Fluency in English and an additional language (a plus).
