UX Researcher

ForeFlight is looking for an outstanding UX Researcher to join our Product Design team. This position is for a motivated individual well-versed in mobile application research and design, who has a background in or passion for aviation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as the user advocate on a multi-disciplinary team
• Work with Product Designers and Product Managers to create effective test plans, prototypes, and desired outcomes for testing
• Schedule and coordinate users for testing sessions
• Conduct research activities throughout a project lifecycle - from exploratory research and interviewing to usability testing the final implementation
• Distill research insights and findings and make recommendations for further iteration and testing
• Help develop and maintain research libraries including personas, test findings, etc. that can be shared across the company
  
  
  

We're Looking For Someone With Experience With

• A wide variety of UX Research methods including structured, unstructured, and hybrid interviewing, moderated and unmoderated task/scenario-based usability testing, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, etc.
• Conducting larger-scale quantitative studies such as surveys and questionnaires
• Recruiting, scheduling, and coordinating users for testing
• Data analysis of research findings, distillation, and story-telling with stakeholders
• Facilitating scope discussions with stakeholders based on research findings

• Showing initiative and self-starting
• Working on a multi-disciplinary and/or Agile team
• Analytics
• Design tools such as Figma & Miro
