Job Description
Job Duties: Vice President, Project Management with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Chicago, Illinois. Create detailed business analysis plans outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions. Ensure clarity in assigned project requirements to support the development of technical solutions that meet client needs, including managing implementations. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, users, and product engineers and prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Own and drive the process to plan, prioritize and deliver new products and features. Ensure the quality of the project items; deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations; and communicate challenging and sensitive information tactfully. Assess and streamline existing process based on customer feedback increasing operational efficiency. Design and implement cloud migration plan by partnering with product and engineering teams thereby increasing Cloud adoption rate. Conduct various Cloud training programs across the firm, enhancing knowledge needed for Cloud migration. Provide hands on support and advice to management and leadership teams on project management tools and methodologies. Drive process re-engineering efforts such as firmwide cloud migration, requiring assessment, analysis, process documentation, planning, tracking, and reporting. Perform the role of a scrum master driving the team towards agile methodology of development. Own user facing documentation lifecycle management, including posting new features, sample code, starter projects along with tracking feedback and making updates.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related Project Management role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related Project Management role.Prior work experience must include three (3) years of experience (with Master’s degree) OR five (5) years of experience (with Bachelor’s degree) with the following: handling cross divisional activities with project or program management; executing technical upgrade to major programs/projects like Kafka library upgrade, microservices migration from On-premises to Cloud; executing control assessment programs such as control gap assessment at point of data entry, control gap remediation, and systems capability assessment; communicating technical and business requirements orally and with written presentations; working with the software development lifecycle and cloud technologies; participating in high level architectural and engineering discussions to accurately manage stakeholder communication; utilizing Jira, Rally, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project Plan (MPP), and Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) with delivery methodologies including Agile and waterfall models; and performing markdown for documentation management and gitlab SDLC.
