TOP 10 AV Integrator is seeking a key person to manage the southwest region in all all post sales aspects. This is a hybrid role, work from home, in office, and travel.
The VP, Engineering is responsible in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful implementation of AV systems for our clients. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technology solutions that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the implementation team, including resource coordinators, project managers, installers, and field engineers.
Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages skill development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement quality control processes to minimize errors and enhance the overall quality of installed systems.
Serve as a point of escalation for clients during the installation phase, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within financial parameters.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficient resource utilization while maintaining high-quality standards.
Ensure that all AV installations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and create a safe working environment for the installation team.

Education & Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of AV or other low voltage experience
Proven experience (3+ years) in managing low voltage projects and teams
CTS certification preferred
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system designs.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively leading and motivating technical teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
