The University of Sioux Falls seeks a dynamic leader for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement role. Reporting directly to the President, this position is instrumental in driving the university's mission, vision, and strategic goals through impactful fundraising, alumni engagement, and philanthropic relationship-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Leadership:
Develop and execute successful fundraising strategies to meet financial objectives.
Cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporations to secure philanthropic support.
Alumni And Friend Engagement
Supervise programs to strengthen alumni engagement and community relationships.
Utilize technology to maintain lasting connections with alumni.
External Relations
Represent the university externally to build positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Strategic Planning And Reporting
Contribute to institutional strategic planning.
Provide regular reports on progress in fundraising and alumni engagement.
Leadership And Team Management
Guide a high-performing team in fundraising, alumni relations, and external affairs.
Promote a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in business administration, philanthropy, communication, or related fields is preferred.
Demonstrated fundraising experience in higher education or nonprofit sectors.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a strategic focus.
Dedication to the Christian mission and values of the university.
