Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Hotel Operations to lead our hospitality division with expertise, innovation, and strategic vision on the West Coast. As the VP of Hotel Operations, you will oversee the efficient operation of all our hotel properties, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue, and maintaining high standards of service and quality. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional owner relations skills, extensive operational knowledge, and a passion for delivering unparalleled results.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all hotel operations across multiple properties.
- Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and standards to achieve consistent excellence in service delivery.
- Foster a culture of guest-centric hospitality and operational efficiency among all staff.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans.
- Drive revenue generation through effective pricing strategies, upselling initiatives, and cost management practices.
- Analyze financial performance metrics and operational KPIs to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Guest Experience and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service, efficient problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to enhance service quality and exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Development and Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of hotel managers and department heads.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to foster professional growth and accountability.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Strategic Planning and Expansion:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business strategies and expansion plans.
- Identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry.
- Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance hotel offerings, amenities, and operational efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Vice President of Hotel Operations or similar senior leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
