Vice President, Transportation Accounts

LaSalle Network is partnered with a dynamic player in the federal government sector, who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vice President, Transportation Accounts in the greater Washington, DC area. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background and established relationships within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and/or the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role is a unique blend of billable work, business development and overall management of our client's transportation account. Candidates must be located in the DC area for occasional onsite government work and meetings.

Vice President, Transportation Accounts Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of services to the DOT/FAA account, including sales pipeline development, capture activities and technical solution development
• Oversee service delivery in areas such as SaaS/PaaS Implementation (especially Salesforce), Application/Software Development, Data Analytics, Cloud Enablement, DevOps, Agile Transformation, Digital Modernization and Cybersecurity
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our transportation clients
• Support high-quality delivery, customer relationship management, recruiting, lead capture and sales efforts
• Communicate effectively with senior management, colleagues and stakeholders
• Utilize knowledge of government IT contracting, acquisition trends and federal customer buying behaviors to shape winning proposals

Vice President, Transportation Accounts Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in capturing IT services work, business development and proposal development within the transportation market
• Strong relationships within the transportation sector
• Expertise in SaaS/PaaS Implementation (particularly Salesforce), Agile Software Development, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Cybersecurity
• Familiarity with DOT customer mission requirements and IT buying habits
• Outstanding leadership, business ethics, negotiation skills, and communication abilities
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, along with the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust background investigation
