LHH is partnered with a healthcare client for an immediate need for an interim Controller! Their office is located in Nashville, but this position can be mainly remote.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the CFO on a variety of financial matters, including historical financial performance, cash flow, accounting, and controls. Implement effective purchasing strategies to enhance control processes
Oversee all Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions, including the integration of acquired companies
Manage the monthly general ledger (GL) close process, streamline procedures, and assign staff duties to complete the monthly close
Maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and distribute financial statements for internal management reviews, lenders, and the board of directors
Provide clear and accurate responses to financial statement inquiries from board members and management
Prepare and participate in quarterly Audit Committee meetings
Produce quarterly lender certification and covenant calculations
Implement and monitor control procedures to ensure compliance
Manage the accounts payable process from invoice approval to vendor payment, leading efforts to streamline AP and payroll processes using Concur and UKG
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
CPA (active or inactive) highly preferred
Healthcare experience required
PE-backed company experience
Managerial experience required
Revenue recognition experience preferred
