The VP of Client/Vendor Relations is responsible to the President/CEO for the management of the Production Control, Materials, and Subcontractor functions at Airside MRO.

Duties/Responsibilities
Production Support Department
Be the first point of contact for the acquisition of technical data used by Airside MRO shop personnel and is responsible for the maintenance of Airside MRO’s technical library.
Oversee the administration functions of the Production Support Department to include opening and closing work orders and assuring that all the mechanics have the necessary paperwork to perform their duties.
Oversee the administration functions of the Production Support Department that includes processing and shipping of required items to approved subcontractors. The VP of Vendor/Customer Relations will be knowledgeable in the Federal and Airside MRO procedures on adding new subcontractors to the list.
Track the statuses of those components outsourced to approved vendors to ensure promised completion/ship dates are adhered to by the vendors.
The VP of Vendor/Customer Relations is the first point of contact through the Account Managers for all of Airside MRO’s customer base. This will include running status reports at the request of the customer and be fully knowledgeable on the work order status of open work orders.
Assist in the quoting of customer work and working with the customer to provide the best price/turn times possible with consideration of Airside MRO’s current workload and capabilities.
Materials Department
The VP of Vendor/Customer Relations ensures that the appropriate vendors are used for purchasing materials and consumable items through the Director of Materials/Purchasing.
Responsible for the functions of the Stores Department through the Director of Materials/Purchasing. This includes properly labeling items, tracking shelf life, issuing items, receiving items, and ensuring the proper documentation is kept on file
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Aviation ERP suites (Pentagon, Quantum, etc).
Minimum 5 years of Part 145 repair station experience in a similar role.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
