Breathwork to ease sadness

(upbeat music) - Today we're going to be doing breath work that's going to help you whenever you're feeling sad. We all feel sad sometimes. So this breathing that we're going to be doing is going to be real powerful for helping you clear out the sadness and feel more peace, more ease. And maybe it's even going to brighten your spirits up a little bit. So we're going to start by sitting up tall right at the edge of your seat with your feet flat, sitting up so that your shoulders roll back and so that your chest and your heart center are opened. This is going to be a breath work where you're breathing in deeply through your nose and then breathing out through your mouth. And as you breathe out through your mouth you're going to focus on breathing out all those feelings of sadness.
