Letting a topic go

For your professional and personal relationships, it's really important to know when to let go of a topic. I think being able to pick up that social cue is really important. Because you don't want them to avoid speaking with you the next time around because they might be afraid like, Oh, you're just going to bring up that topic again. If a person is uncomfortable and it seems like they don't want to talk about something or they can't, or they can only reveal limited information, or that's just their preference. And then really remembering that, Hey, you know what? This is something they don't want to talk about. I should just make sure not to bring this up next time. And actually, you know, remembering and applying that insight is is really important for keeping that strong relationship.
