- [Instructor] So, I'll admit that sometimes a topic comes up in the courses I teach here, and there's so much super exciting, almost there potential, it's tantalizing, but mostly it's potential. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. But for right now, we mostly get to deal with the stuff that seems a lot more boring in comparison. It's like when I tell people that spreadsheets are still really important data tools, I mean, they're critical. Well, as it turns out, there's often a lot of value in this so-called boring stuff. And that's as true for 3D printing in healthcare as it is for anything. But I should at least mention the super exciting, even if it's not yet ready for primetime potential, which probably describes things like creating tissues and organs with 3D printers.
