The American Express Leadership Academy in London is in full swing - and there are few more iconic places in London to visit than Shakespeare's Globe! We believe that you can learn so much by stepping outside the classroom, and one of our favourite parts of the Academy are the immersion visits, where participants are able to visit local organizations to discuss some of the challenges facing the non-profit sector today. Great leaders can get things done, irrespective of their formal authority. A leader is not a leader if they don't have followers. If you are able to mobilize others through your ability to persuade, inspire, or influence, you are leading. Great leaders provide a vision of where to go, a strategy for winning, and enabling constraints to promote desired outcomes.
