For many, being in the healthcare services industry is a 24/7/365 operation. At Quest Diagnostics we are one of those providers. And it requires many members of our team to work all 365 days, including holidays. Today Vivek Bhatt, GM of our Great Midwest Region, and I visited our Quest Patient Service Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to say thank-you to LaToya, Maggie and Unika. We thank them and the thousands of Quest Employees who will work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. "Working Together to Create a Healthier World, One Life at a Time."

Senior Principal Engineer at N-SIDE | Creative Problem-Solver in AI & Advanced Analytics | 10 Years Driving Innovation in Clinical Supply Management
🌟 Our Journey to N-SIDE Lighthouse 🌟 It's no habit of mine to share here, but today feels different. I am immensely proud of the journey our team has embarked upon, and I wanted to give you a glimpse of it. At N-SIDE, we've always aimed to push the boundaries in clinical supply management. While our past products laid the foundation and showed the value, we recognized the complexities they presented to our users. Taking those lessons to heart, we made a collective decision: the user would be our compass, and their experience our true north. After countless design sessions, iterations, and unwavering dedication, our team brings to you N-SIDE Lighthouse. N-SIDE Lighthouse isn't just another product for us. It represents our dedication to understanding user needs and evolving based on that understanding. It's the beginning of a journey and with your collaboration, we believe that we can shape the next chapters of innovation in clinical supply management. I renew my thanks to the rest of the team for their dedication, passion, and efforts. It's because of them that N-SIDE Lighthouse has become a reality. Thank you for being part of our story. Here's to new horizons and unforgettable experiences! 🌅 Check the link below: https://lnkd.in/epm-4kRR #ClinicalSupply #ClinicalTrials #Innovation #NSIDELighthouse #Teamwork

There are 2 professional lessons that I take away from this photo. A little backstory. 3 years ago, yesterday, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Simultaneously, my company at the time was bought out and going through several rounds of layoffs. Not wanting to be on the chopping block, I felt I had to do everything possible to prove my worth. So, in this photo, despite spending 13 hours that day at Moffitt Cancer Center, 6 of those hours being tied to a machine for apheresis with a tube coming out of my jugular - I was on a conference call. During chemotherapy and active treatment, I worked. I might have been out for a couple days following infusions, but I did everything in my power to make it to the office Monday morning. I put off my double mastectomy for several months following chemo so I could focus on work, and then when it was 6 weeks before surgery I was let go - without insurance. Lesson #1 - Work & do business with companies that care. Care about you and care about its customers. It's not just a cliche, there is a business case for this. When a company takes care of its employees, those people will be invested in delivering the best possible service. When those employees are just a number, they will feel disposable and provide a level of service that matches. Lesson #2 - Take the PTO. Go on the vacation. Do work that you love. Make time for your family & friends. At the end of the day, those are the things that truly matter. Edited to add: This photo was 3 years ago. I am currently healthy and in remission.

In any organization, the employee MUST be top of mind. Company takes care of EE, Employee takes care of customer, customer is happy, loyal, takes care of you. A coach doesn’t coach the fans - he/she coaches the team. Coach, mentor, care for your team. #leadership #teambuilding
