In 2005, co-founders Mark Johnson and Whitney Kroenke created the concept of the Songs Around the World by uniting musicians from many different countries and cultures to perform on the same track. They believe that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome the differences that divide us. The Playing for Change Foundation is a global nonprofit organization, and the mission is simple: to inspire and connect the world through music. Videos are on You Tube so check out more amazing performances by well-known artists playing with talented musicians from around the world. Music has the power to connect people in ways that touch the soul and can bring multitudes of differences together. It's what we need more of.
