Sounds great in theory.
Your career is SO MUCH MORE than what makes it onto your resume. Which means you should be making decisions for you, not your resume. At different points in your career that may mean: -Staying at a workplace without getting promoted because you want stability -Being unemployed because you need time off after a toxic workplace -Taking time off to travel because you have the luxury and life is short -Taking a lesser title at a new company because the work excites you -Being underemployed because you need to provide for your family -Staying at home with your kids because you want to or can -Changing careers to improve your opportunities And anything else that means to you. -- Share with your network to support other job-seekers and follow Ben Grant for weekly content about the job search and career advancement.

Do not self reject before applying to your next job. - You comb through the job description and agonize over "shoot... It's asking me for 5 years of experience, but I only have 4 years" - You know you could do the job... But - You think to yourself "Well there's no way I'm good enough for that job" APPLY ANYWAYS! (And if you need a tool to automatically apply to jobs: https://lnkd.in/eugM4fpD) What's the worst that'll happen? But most importantly, what's the best thing that could happen?
