Initially, we onboarded all types of creators in Faym.co, but we soon discovered that focusing on infotainment creators was more effective. We shifted our focus to onboard creators with larger followings, rather than merely increasing the number of creators. This approach helps you cultivate a loyal customer base, from whom you can receive genuine feedback and reduces the need for an extensive retention strategy. 2)Adopt an approach reminiscent of running a local store during the initial stages. 🏪 We regularly engage with our creators, meet with them, and provide individualized support to establish strong relationships with them. This approach yields significant, compounded benefits. Avoid overemphasizing the development of large, scalable channels. Often, you lack the necessary insights for this, and it disconnects you from the ground reality. 3)Less is more, especially in the early stages of product development. We initially wasted time on developing analytics and profile sections but later realized that their impact on user onboarding and retention was minimal. As a startup, the race is against time, so prioritize work based on its impact. Currently, we are solely optimizing our core features. You don't need to build ten features to engage users. Instead, focus on one standout feature that becomes your (USP) and offers a strong value proposition to your users. If this feature doesn't engage users, other minor enhancements won't make a difference.
