Mental health has moved from stigma to recognition, support, and understanding with more openness from employees, proactive employer actions, and a focus on work-life balance. 💚 How do you take care of your wellbeing? For our Director of HR, Karin Allén-Gullqvist, one of the most important ways of taking care of her mental health is ensuring work-life balance. 💚 Mental health reasons for workplace absences have increased. This is partly explained by the fact that today the threshold to talk about mental health challenges has been lowered. On the other hand, today's working life is hectic and modern working culture requires people to be always available. 💚 This year World Mental Health Day unites us behind the theme “Mental health is a universal human right”. For us that means every employee has the right to go home healthy – both physically and mentally! #WorldMentalHealthDay #maailmanmielenterveyspäivä #vihreäävaloa

The spotlight is shining on mental health in the workplace—and with good reason. If employees are struggling at work, they’re likely struggling outside of work, too—and vice versa. So, to improve engagement, performance, retention (and don’t forget healthcare costs!), organizations are making an intentional effort to create a culture of support and well-being—one that breaks down the stigma around mental health so employees can share mental health struggles without fear or concern. We are honored to work alongside dedicated employers as they strive to #BreakTheStigma of mental health in the workplace: https://bit.ly/42aPRVt
