Today, the Block team took a step outside the office to engage with our communities in meaningful ways. It's our annual day of service, and we're proud to share a glimpse of the activities our team members participated in. From joining beach cleanups to help protect our environment, to serving meals at local soup kitchens, and spending valuable time with veterans, our team was eager to give back and connect with the community. A big thank you to everyone who took part in today's activities! 🧡 #CommunityService #TeamBlock #GivingBack

Excited to share a brand-new video from our recent event at the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless Community Garden with Jovia Financial Credit Union members volunteering. It was an event full of laughter, hard work, and heartwarming moments. Shoutout to our award-winning junior community volunteers who took part with Deborah Mazza and Christine Bentley, Bailey Riekkinen, Simone Williams for taking the time to be interviewed. 🔹 Our team dove into action—rolling up sleeves, tackling weeds, and turning weeding into quite the workout! 🔹 Engaging with community members, genuine smiles, and stories that remind us why we do what we do—it's all about human connections. 🔹 Midway through, vibrant activities shined, with lots of weeding and even more laughter. 🔹 Behind-the-scenes footage showcased teamwork in action, like a reality show with more soil and fewer drama queens. 🔹 Wrapping up with unforgettable moments leaving everyone grinning from ear to ear. This video reflects our hard work and passion for community outreach. Proud to be part of a team making a real difference, one weed at a time! Watch the full video and share your thoughts. What's your favorite part, and how can we enhance our community outreach? Your feedback matters! Let's keep those green thumbs moving and brains thinking! 💡 #CommunityEngagement #TeamWork #JoviaFinancialCreditUnion #CommunityRelations #Marketing #LICHCommunityGarden #GardenAdventures

Are you aware of the communities that you're a part of? These can be physical spaces like your neighborhood or workplace, or even virtual spaces like online forums. Your level of involvement may vary - you might be an active participant or a silent observer. But one thing I've come to realize is that the true strength of a community is revealed in times of adversity. I'm part of a rural community where each family owns 40 acres of land. We may not see each other daily, but when someone is in need, the overwhelming show of support and kindness is truly heartwarming! Here's a news story that perfectly illustrates this: How about you? What does your community mean to you? #CommunityStrength #UnityInAdversity https://gofund.me/9be117e3
