The solar eclipse is happening on Monday, April 8th, and we want you to be prepared! Virginia falls in the path of a partial eclipse so while it is safe to drive, it is important to not look up at the sky and stay focused on the road while operating a vehicle. If you plan to be on the road during the eclipse, be sure to keep these driving tips in mind: 🌟 Keep headlights on. 🌟 Put the sun visor down to block your view of the sun. 🌟 Do not wear eclipse glasses while driving. 🌟 Do not try to photograph or video the eclipse while driving. 🌟 Do not pull over and park on the shoulders or ramps of highways to view or photograph the eclipse 🌟 Exit the roadway and park in a safe area away from traffic to view the eclipse. 🌟 Be mindful of pedestrians who may be walking around with their eyes on the sky.
