So true! 1. Be sure to place (contract assignment) next to you each of your temp assignments. This also explains your history to future employers. And best of all, your a true go-getter! 2.Your more employable when your employed and working vs. not. 3. Remember, temp work can fill in employment gaps with employment. Try to avoid this…. 2001-2014 2016-2018 2 yr gap between jobs 2019-present. 1 yr gap between jobs 4. Network! network! network!with others. Would a task put you off applying for a job?🤔 Last week, I asked the question of would a task put you off applying for a job and 64% of people answered yes. Some roles may not require a task in order to make an effective hiring decision, but in others, it can be super useful in assisting the hiring manager to assess ability. Whilst I understand adding an extra layer to the application process can feel taxing, I personally think tasks can enhance the candidate experience if done correctly and collaboratively by providing the candidate with a clearer idea of what the role will entail and ultimately, whether they would want to progress with it. 🙌🏻 As a golden rule, I think tasks need to be both relevant 𝘢𝘯𝘥 reasonable. #hiring #process

Maybe something in their life requires them to change the amount of time dedicated to their job, or a need in their family or a whole list of reasons.
