🌟 Transforming the Video Entertainment Landscape 🌟 Last month, at #IBC2023, Irdeto showcased our industry-leading solutions in video entertainment. From our robust media management portfolio to cutting-edge anti-piracy content protection, and our pioneering contributions to Super-Aggregation, it was an invigorating few days. Engaging in conversations with Advanced TV, we explored current market trends and our collaborative efforts with industry leaders. The digital landscape is evolving, and Irdeto is committed to driving positive change. My key takeaway: The current fragmented state of video entertainment isn't serving the best interests of consumers or content providers. In response, Super-Aggregation presents an exciting prospect. By re-bundling streaming and broadcast services, we can enhance the user experience, improve cross-platform data, visibility, and control while reducing costs. Curious to learn more? Check out my full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eGGHFxkA Join us in shaping the future of video entertainment. Let's discuss how these advancements can transform the industry. #Irdeto #VideoEntertainment #AntiPiracy #IBC2023 #ThoughtLeadership #AdvancedTV #SuperAggregation

PaaM - The Story Continues 🙌 The fifth PaaM (Production as a Module) outside broadcast vehicle is delivered to SRG (Swiss Broadcasting Corporation). We have developed a series of outside broadcast vehicles in various sizes with the client. The PaaM S (small) showcased here is the second S-model in the PaaM series that we could deliver to SRG SSR, with three PaaM M (medium) models already supplied in the previous years. The PaaM S outside broadcast vehicles are distinguished by a highly compact design while maximising space and technical resources. The SRG technically manages the project for the Swiss national broadcasting services Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI) RTR Radiotelevisiun Svizra Rumantscha RTS - Radio Télévision Suisse and SRF - Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen The vehicle operates in UHD/HDR with four cameras, offers up to five workplaces, and can be used even in the highest mountain regions of Switzerland due to its dimensions and weight. 📍 Tim Rast, procurement responsible for the production fleet SRG, comments, 'The PaaM vehicles are a true success story. By standardising the design across the various model sizes, we greatly reduce the internal training effort and bring all our channels closer together. We also considered the networking of several vehicles and their integration into our broadcasting infrastructure from the start, which greatly simplifies daily operations.' 💪 #PaaM #BroadcastTech #SRGBroadcasting #OBvan #mobileproduction #BroadcastSolutions #Systemsintegration

This week we attended our first DPP European Broadcaster Summit #EBS2024. Our key takeaways from this summit are: 1. Change and Transformation are still front and centre for many, but this is becoming the norm for broadcasters. 2. A strong demand for better collaboration and partnerships as broadcasters continually evolve their businesses. 3. Interoperability remains a big topic and not everything has a standard to support that. The broadcasting industry has a rich history of innovation but is facing unprecedented challenges. Technology is only part of the solution. As one broadcaster framed it “Technology is 30% of the change, people are the other 70%”. We created Eosos to help broadcasters, service providers and vendors navigate an uncertain future by bringing a human centred approach to Change and Transformation because we understand that all aspects in the eco-system need to work seamlessly together. If you want to know how we can help you, get in touch with us. Picture courtesy of DPP
