This role will foster client relationships, influence Perch's strategic direction, actively participate in industry events/policy initiatives, and lead Perch's go-to-market efforts as we seek to take advantage of our recent Series-B investment. The ideal candidate is an experienced, dynamic professional with a proven track record in the energy sector, particularly in selling to independent power producers. They should possess excellent communication and networking skills, a strong drive for pursuing challenges, and a passion for actively engaging with clients and industry stakeholders. And finally, they should be enthusiastic about contributing to the development of a thriving company culture.RequirementsOriginate and negotiate acquisition and management services contracts for community solar project portfolios with asset owners and developers.Own annual contracted management and acquisition MWs targets with new and current clients to grow Perch's market share and contracted ARR.Utilize a rigorous data-driven originations, screening, and evaluations process to increase pipeline with top of the sales funnel opportunities to realize our annual acquisition and management MW growth goals.Identify and maintain list of targeted client and developer prospects and establish strategies for pulling targeted prospects into the sales funnel and closing deals.Build process for landing and expanding target accounts including direct outreach, contract negotiations, onboarding, and expansion.Establish and foster relationships and partnerships with key clients, prospective clients, and industry participants. Continue active role in conferences and speaking engagements to expand the Perch brand awareness and leadership.Monitor the market, competitors, and client needs to influence Perch's roadmap and growth strategies.Collaborate with marketing to produce promotional materials for the company's products and services including market guides, collateral describing Perch's points of differentiation, and sales proposals.Assist in the development of the client and developer origination and sales plans.
