Looks like the client newsletter made it out last week, so our monthly batch of new resources for folks to partner with has been sent out to those that have at one point done or sought business with us. If they don't find what they are looking for, they delete it, but only 7 people have unsubscribed out of the remaining 732 folks on the email list. Gotta be doing something right? So the Resources page is getting a relaunch later this week to make it easier to use. So if you are confused about how to sort through all the chaos there, I hear you. I can't find anything on there either. Consider it a functional gift to the community this holiday season - something we all can use :) If you were on the client newsletter, you noticed that we have our Pitch Slam still coming up on Feb 23rd. There is a early application bonus if you sign up before the end of the year - https://lnkd.in/gCrVBcXC. We are working on making prize money available to the winners as well, so sign up soon (we can raise more money that way!).

Day 11 of "Nope, I promise -- your money isn't all your alma mater wants from you!" 🤑 If you're a seasoned alumni volunteer, your next role may be the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Read post below for more info. (POV, I wish our industry would strike "Association" and instead reflect the real impact of these volunteers. Alumni Advisory Board or Alumni Ambassadors would have a more accurate level of cache.) #alumniassociation #alumnirelations #advisoryboard

The ReadyLaunch Grant application submissions are closed! We support all #female-identifying, non-binary persons and those individuals affected by #gender-related issues in the realm of design with funding and mentorship. Unfortunately, the world is still at a point where this support is critically needed. According to UN estimates, it will take us another 131 years to reach full parity. #Discrimination and #prejudice remain rampant: in 77 countries, discriminatory laws criminalize even private same-sex relationships, putting people at risk of arrest, prosecution, imprisonment, and, in at least five countries, the death penalty. This issue needs no justification. So, we received over 700 submissions, and faced a month of reviewing applications, voting, and making selections. The process has been exciting, though it's sad that we couldn't support everyone. But there's also joy. Creativity and the sacred are alive, and Love (i.e. Logos), despite obstacles, continues to flourish, leading to new educational projects, companies, spaces, communities, and a confident, persistent voice advocating for the freedom to be and to choose whom to love. Notably, we closed the grant at the beginning of June, #PrideMonth. For me, it began with a personal stand against #homophobia and the degradation of human dignity (which was another reminder that the problem goes beyond mere statistics). While it's disheartening that this is our reality, it's also reassuring and proud to feel that we have the strength to fight for what we believe in. We will announce the grant winners later this week. Projects will be implemented by October. Subscribe, follow along, and stay tuned! And, of course, love and freedom to all of you! After all, that's what this is all about ❤
We received over 700 applications for our ReadyLaunch Grant! Thank you so much to each and every one of you who applied. It was a pleasure to read your excellent ideas 💎 Check you inbox to find out whether you got selected: last Friday we sent out replies to all applicants. We will announce the four selected grantees later this week, so stay tuned!

Words can’t even express how much I love this program. If you haven’t heard of the BLAC Internship Program do your googles. They are creating such an important space for black talent to thrive and be discovered. I wouldn’t have been able this start my career with such momentum without this internship program. If you’re hiring or just looking to support the next generation of advertising talent, look into BLAC. If you’re able donate some time to mentor, join the support network, and pay your success forward. You never know how important it is to support the future until you actually tap in.
Last week we celebrated BLAC's Spring Alumni Homecoming! Thank you to our speakers, program grads Malaika Cesar-Nemorin (BLAC '21), Justina Smith (BLAC '22), and Kai Fields (BLAC '23), along with our special guest, 160over90's Senior Director of Impact & Inclusion, Tyler Bell. Many thanks to Bryon Anderson (BLAC '22 & '23) for so beautifully branding the event, and to our wider alumni community for always showing up for each other. #BLACcommunity #BLACalumni #Blacktalent #advertisingandmarketing

Today - is absolutely amazing day. Even in NYC - weather is perfect )) Yep, I have bias toward weather in the City. What were yours wins this week? Ours at Getgrant.ai are: - in a week we'll launch new feature: "My performance" - to help you stay consistent during this journey of securing funds! - 2 partners as part of the perks package for our Customers: IBVCLOUD OÜ and SellMeThisPen - we're shaping our scrappers and models - and I'm looking almost at a real time how amount of available non-diluted funds is growing;
This Friday, let's celebrate not just the end of the week, but the small victories we've had on our grant journey. Each application submitted, each new opportunity discovered, is a step closer to our goals. Remember, in the world of grants, every step forward is a victory worth celebrating. 🏆 #FridayFeeling #CelebrateSuccess
