Our new paper is out! With a growing talent gap in quantum technology globally, there is an increasing need to access relevant physical quantum systems in education and research. Therefore, as part of our educational efforts into quantum computing, we have released a paper on a 5-qubit quantum computer, commercially available as IQM Spark. In this paper, we introduce an on-site quantum computer utilising superconducting technology, offering insights into its fundamental hardware and software components. We show how this system can be used in education to teach quantum concepts and deepen understanding of quantum theory and quantum computing. Additionally, we demonstrate its use in research by replicating some notable recent achievements.
