Head of Talent Management @ SearcHive - Helping top Finance talent find their next career opportunity.
This is probably one of the toughest environments to get hired right after University in a long time. My best piece of advice: don’t just rely on job applications. Get proactive. Reach out to the Hiring Managers and Recruiteds. Build your experience and research to give the Hiring Manager more data points to work off of. Start building your network (this will benefit you throughout your career as well). While these things won’t “guarantee” you an offer, they can certainly raise the averages in your favour to give you a better chance. #Hiring #Finance #Accounting #SearcHive

CPA | Navigating complex financial landscapes | Implementing innovative accounting systems | Nurturing powerhouse teams in the energy sector
As a CPA who's been deep in the trenches with finance teams, I can say these questions hit the nail on the head. But don't be surprised if even seasoned management folks find them challenging. I had a total nerd moment going through all the questions, just to double-check that I could tackle them myself. I'm good to go! This is a fantastic set of questions—thanks for sharing Bojan Radojicic. To all my finance and accounting pros out there, make sure to save these questions and ensure you can answer them too! It'll definitely pay off! #accounting #finance #business #jobs
Finance Modeling Coach. Helping Finance Pros Make More Money with Impactful Finance Models & Trainings.
We are currently hiring people in finance. When it comes to entry-level or junior positions, the idea is to ensure that the candidate possesses some general technical knowledge. Of course, alongside behavioural, analytical, and other competencies, this is an important segment in assessing whether the candidate has some basic fundamentals. What do you think about these questions?

🚀 Is Hiring for Talent and Potential the Way Forward? 🚀 Lately, I've been thinking about the whole idea of the "perfect fit" in hiring. In finance, we're often on the lookout for candidates who tick all the boxes. But maybe, just maybe, we should shift our focus a bit. There's something to be said for hiring people with raw talent and genuine passion. They bring fresh perspectives and energy, sparking innovation and driving the team forward in unexpected ways. What if we started hiring for potential? These are the people who might not have every qualification yet but are eager to learn and grow. Investing in their development could mean big returns for the company down the line. When you build a team based on diverse talents and potential, you get adaptability and resilience. It’s exciting to see how different strengths come together to create something greater. Personally, I always try to share this perspective with my clients. It's not about finding someone who ticks every box but about recognizing and nurturing potential. Every time I see it in action, it reinforces my belief in this approach. Just some food for thought. Have you seen the impact of hiring for talent and potential in your organization? Would love to hear your experiences! #TalentAcquisition #HiringStrategy #CareerGrowth #TeamBuilding #Recruitment #FinanceIndustry #Luxembourg

Hiring can be a risky game. That’s why companies hire based on prior experience and accomplishments. They don’t want to take any risks and make a “bad hire”. I always recommend candidates to make sure they have an ‘Achievements’ section on their CV, making the value add that much clearer. #Hiring #SearcHive #Finance #Accounting
