"Matt" is a single father who has recently moved to a new area with his job. He feels overwhelmed a lot of the time & his family live over 3 hours away. The countdown is on! ⏳ In less than 4 weeks, Press Play Ventures will open its (virtual) doors to 40+ women for its first ever cohort of the program. The team has been talking about this since July 2023 and to see it finally come alive is a surreal feeling. When we sat down to think about how we’d reach 100 women over 2 years, we thought we’d go slow and steady. We’d run 2 cohorts each year and enrol 25 women in each cohort. 100 women in 2 years. Boom! 💥 Little did we know that we’d underestimated the interest and need for such a program in Victoria and beyond. Our first recruitment drive successfully brought in 90+ applications, of which, we’ve now accepted 40 unique businesses to be a part of the first cohort. 💪🏽 I'm excited to see how the founders and their ideas evolve through the course of the program.
