After seven months of extravagant pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani, the son of India’s richest man, completed his long-awaited marriage to pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant before thousands of guests on Friday. "Paison ki gandi numaish". It's a complete negligence of moral responsibility. How many families in his own service staff of thousands would've faced difficulties in finding spouses for their children with the reasons revolving around money. The guy sits in the city with the biggest slum of the world "Dharavi". This is a total abuse to the whole countrymen, supposedly saying "We are here, and you are there". The whole shadi concept is becoming more and more difficult to imagine because of the financial burdens the families have. The reason being such cheapness in the society. No matter how many degrees and how big your bank balance is, if one fails to understand the morality, then he's a gone case. It's like, if someone dies in your immediate neighbourhood with hunger and you had all means to support him, but you didn't do it. Then you will questioned for your morality. No govt laws will catch you for that, but the moral laws will.
Not a well-judged move when most people inside India are down in the mouth and are living from hand to mouth, never knowing where the next meal come from.
How is it possible, in the face of absurd luxury contrasting profoundly with poverty and even misery in some corners of India!
In the middle of a genocide though??? This type of opulence just seems downright obscene to me man.
