Hiring In AdTech, how important is it to find the right people? Your job may depend on it, so a lot. Let me explain... ✍ It is always devastating to see the influx of highly talented senior people affected by redundancies 😔 Whenever I talk to them, the reasons are usually the same; ✖ Lack of cash flow ✖ Reluctance to change ✖ Promises not kept But the one that caught my attention was "We couldn't find the right people for the team" They had key positions vacant for 6+ months⁉ Their internal talent team was inflexible and stuck to 'their way' of doing things And once your team is weakened with no replacement in sight Then talent retention becomes a massive issue 🙃 When things go wrong, it's your reputation on the line, not the internal talent team's 🤐 Of course, these hiring frameworks and 'their way' of doing things are there to help, not hinder They should facilitate your success, not hinder it So you must ultimately take responsibility for your hiring needs Because your team is the driving force behind your success or failure 👐 If you're having trouble finding the right people for your team Drop me a DM #hiring #talentacquisition #adtech
