This month, we honor and celebrate those who fought for our rights, knowing there's still much work to do so we can truly thrive—not just survive! Symetra’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team transformed Diversity Week into Equity Month, hosting a series of events and activities in November focused on fostering community, upskilling our team and recognizing DEI leaders at Symetra. Over 1,200 employees participated in sessions and missions to learn how to become better allies and foster a community where everyone belongs. We wrapped up the month with our inaugural ERG Awards ceremony, celebrating our employee resource groups and the exceptional employees who are cultivating a culture of inclusion at Symetra.
