Like any profession, recruiting develops jargon/lingo/acronyms. I was in a weekly status meeting with two of my hiring managers last week going over our candidate tracker. I had “IV” next to lots of names. One of them said “stage 4?”. I had to explain it was shorthand for “interview”. If you see something you don’t understand, just ask :) (Interviews are way more exciting than whatever stage 4 is!)
