AuDHD and proud ♾️ ICF ADHD and Autism Life Coach. I provide company wide neurodivergent training, keynote speaking and consulting.
What are your plans to create a more inclusive environment once Neurodiversity Celebration Week draws to a close? 🤔 Bear with me here… This week has been incredible, for me (an AuDHDer) and undoubtedly many other neurodivergent individuals. 👊 The talks I have attended so far have been insightful and inspiring. To hear from so many changemakers, each with a unique lived experience of neurodivergence, will have shifted many people’s belief systems around neurodiversity, neurodivergence, and inclusion. The discussions going on this week are essential, as they: - Create awareness - Envision the change - Shape our perceptions - Identify common ground - Develop our understanding. But the discussions only take us so far. It is action that makes the lasting difference when it comes to inclusion. So, my original question is one that I think we should all ask ourselves, but my thoughts are that it’s particularly important for those people who hold positions of influence that can affect real change: What are your plans to promote inclusion in this space once this year’s Neurodiversity Celebration Week concludes? If you're in a position to drive change, I challenge you to transform these discussions into actionable commitments. It’s important to remember, actions speak louder than words. If you’re ready to explore what that action could look like in your context, I invite you to book a call with me using the link on my personal profile. Let’s discuss how we can tailor actionable steps that will create truly neuroinclusive workplaces and environments. As a lived experience educator with several years of ED&I experience within corporate settings, I’m here to help you. Join a growing community committed to learning and improving together by following my company page NeuDivergent. Discover insights and best practices on neuroinclusivity that can make a real difference. 🤝 #neurodiversitycelebrationweek #neurodiversityatwork #Neurodiversity #Neurodivergent #Autistic #ADHD #Dyslexia #Disabled #Inclusion https://lnkd.in/erpcTbtR
Talk does not create inclusion. We’ve all heard the phrase ‘actions speak louder than words’, but when it comes to putting this into practice, so many of us fall at the first hurdle. This Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we are calling EVERYONE to action. Whether you’re a business owner, a freelancer, an employee or a manager… We want you to look around and consider how your business or place of work could be more inclusive. Neurodiversity is a term that includes all of us. It’s time we start to consider the needs of every person. Neurodivergent or not, we’re all individuals with individual needs and requirements. We all deserve to work in an environment which advocates for inclusivity and comfort.

I had the privilege of co-hosting a phenomenal event that was achieved through a collaboration with my company's Black Employee Resource group (Billow) and our Pride ERG, where we delved deep into the significance of Juneteenth and Pride Month. Here's a recap of the enriching discussions and insights shared: 🌿 Topics Explored: The event centered around the historical importance of Juneteenth and the celebration of Pride Month. We delved into the intersectionality between these two movements, recognizing the shared struggles and victories of marginalized communities. 💬 Community Dialogue: The space created for community discussion was truly invaluable. Attendees shared personal stories, reflected on the journey towards equality, and highlighted the importance of inclusivity and allyship in our workplace and beyond. 🎉 Celebrating Diversity: The event was a celebration of diversity and unity. We embraced the uniqueness of each individual, championed inclusivity, and underscored the need for continued support and advocacy for all members of our community. 🌟 Empowering Voices: By amplifying voices from different backgrounds and identities, we honored the resilience and strength of our community. The power of coming together, listening, and learning was evident throughout the event. 🔗 Intersectionality in Action: The event exemplified how intersectionality can drive meaningful conversations, foster a sense of belonging, and pave the way for a more inclusive and accepting workplace culture. 🌈 Let's continue to uplift and support each other, recognizing that our differences make us stronger together. Here's to creating spaces where every voice is heard and valued! 🌟 #Juneteenth #Pride

The importance and power of empathy cannot be underestimated. It's key to equality, diversity and inclusion. It's how we enable and empower people. What is empathy through? And how can you harness it? It starts with two scary realities: - You're not right - You don't know.
