Any type of heat therapy works, including saunas, infrared saunas, steams, hot baths, hot springs, and even hot yoga! Finding a way— even just a hot bath—to regularly boost your temperature is an easy, cheap, and rejuvenating strategy to improve your health span and address the root causes of aging. Do you follow a hot or cold therapy routine? I’d love to know!

Heat therapy has some amazing benefits, but only if the increase in body core temperature is enough to set a significant stimulus in you body. Our institute is doing research about hyperthermia and other forms of heat treatments since 1963. Unfortunately, a lot of the new infrared and light therapy medical devices include unproven medical claims. Hopefully, with implementation of the new MDR regulations, we will see a change to a more scientific approach around heat treatments again…

I do IR sauna @ home 2-3 times a week. Definitely helps with sleep and stress. Highly recommend.

How many young people are going to drop dead for “no apparent reason” before people wake up to the fact our “public health” agencies are responsible for exponentially more death and destruction in the last 5 years than than all acts of terror in American history combined. And the government just gave Moderna almost 200 million to “study” how to kill more people with mRNA technology for the bird flu they also created to infect humans. RNA technology that we are hundreds of years from understanding to any level that could be considered “safe and effective.” Wake up people!!!!! https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2024/07/07/lioness-actor-mike-heslin-dies-at-30-after-unexpected-cardiac-event/

Love this post! I love using the dry wooden sauna and getting it to about 90 degrees Celcius and stay in there for close to 30 minutes! I also take breaks, take a cold shower, hydrate, and then go back and forth on cycles. I do this 4 times a week to promote longevity. Been a massive game changer for my physical, emotional, and mental health! Will be sharing, thank you Dr Hyman 🔥

Heat aggravates my child’s stomach in the shower to the point he doesn’t take long showers. Guess it’s not everyone’s friend.

I have a cold plunge, try to be consistent at 3 days a week, 15 min, 50-58 degrees. I don’t have access to a sauna, yet, it is in the plan. Question: it’s been really hot and humid here, is that potentially “heat therapy”?
