In honor of #DataPrivacyWeek, enable Opt-Out Preference Signals (OOPS), available through some browsers like Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Firefox, or as a third-party browser extension. OOPS is a powerful tool that helps you automatically exercise your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information with businesses you interact with online, without having to make individual requests to each business. At our December 2023 meeting, the CPPA Board approved a legislative proposal that would require ALL browsers to include a feature to allow their users to easily exercise their privacy rights via Opt-Out Preference Signals: https://lnkd.in/gbSNQCWX
