I really enjoyed this thought provoking episode with David L. Bahnsen & Jonah Goldberg. I hope you find it engaging as well. Looking forward to reading David’s new book soon… https://lnkd.in/eAsj8wuJ Episode summary: What’s the meaning of life? 42? Pizza? The Remnant? David Bahnsen may or may not have the answer, but he’s at least certain of what makes life satisfying: honest, productive work. In his new book, Full-Time, he explores how work can allow us to find purpose and fulfillment. But is all work equally meaningful? Is the market best placed to determine its value? And does David have a higher net worth than Scrooge McDuck?

- Out as a whole since January 10th, here is my take on the latest series from Marvel under their Spotlight umbrella! - Featuring fan favourites Kingpin and Daredevil, this Native American origin story leans into the ASL (American Sign Language) element, builds on that Maya Lopez cameo in Hawkeye, but drops the ball in terms of story! - Adult in approach, sympathetic in terms of back story, and worth a watch if only for an opinion - jump into my review with all haste and share the love! #echo #disneyplus #marvelstudios #youtube #youtuber #youtubechannel #reviews

Out Of Order is a brand-new game show hosted by the inimitable Rosie Jones, alongside team captains Judi Love and Katherine Ryan and celebrity guests. In each episode, teams engage their snap judgements and compete to place ‘Rosie’s Regulars’, a panel made up of members of the public, in order according to a question. Questions such as: who has been married the most times? How many sickies they’ve pulled to get off work? And who’s the biggest collector? Read more here: https://ow.ly/zsBw50QGCI4

November 6, 2023 9:24 UTC-5 DID I STRIKE A NERVE Wow! This post is going viral in a minor sense and has over 200 views at this point. It's probably because it's fucking true, informative and entertaining. What else can one ask for from a LinkedIn post I ask rhetorically? Unfortunately for Elizabeth, I have many many more anecdotes and perspectives about her based on my interactions with her during my IRS-CI career which I so intend to share with the Internet as lawful exercises of my First Amendment Right. Furthermore, Elizabeth has many more years to go before she can retire from her position as an IRS-CI special agent. Additionally, it is possible that her colleagues may seek to discuss these posts with her but that is their choice. I have NO intentions of contacting her at all. I guess Elizabeth could pull a Stacey Martin and just resign from her position as an IRS-CI special agent and maybe pursue a career as a high-end Latin prostitute for which I believe she is extremely qualified because she is very very attractive IMHO and she would make a fortune in that career. It would be like that Starz television series, The Girlfriend Experience which is so awesome. 😎 14:13 ADVICE To any and all incumbent IRS employees, especially male IRS-CI special agents, if you happen to read any of my First Amendment posts concerning Elizabeth Bedoya, in the interests of extreme caution, I strongly recommend that you do NOT bring up these posts with Elizabeth either directly or indirectly. I also recommend that you do not discuss these posts among yourselves while on duty but I know that's a complete pipe dream. Finally, for God's sake and your own sake, don't send emails or texts concerning these posts and especially don't use a Government computer or smartphone to send emails or texts that discuss these posts. Take care! 😎
November 5, 2023 17:16 UTC-5 NEGAN AND LUCILLE IMHO, an indication that IRS-CI Special Agent Elizabeth Bedoya may possess an above average psychopathic personality is that in her cubicle in the Stoneham, MA Post of Duty, she had a replica of "Lucille" which is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire that was used by the villainous character, Negan in the AMC television series, The Walking Dead (TWD). In Season 7, Episode 1 of TWD, Negan used Lucille to violently and gruesomely beat to death two major protagonists, Abraham and Glen. I don't know when exactly but at some point when I first observed Lucille in Elizabeth's cubicle and inquired, Elizabeth professed a love for both the character of Negan and the actor who portrayed him, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. 😎

Complex characters? Analyzing them provides insight into the human condition. Though they are compilations, shades, and often caricatures, fictional characters showcase the best, worst, and everything in between of humanity. I’m inspired to analyze some major, supporting, and obscure characters from a few of my favorite television shows in the coming days. In everyday life situations — including our jobs — we have opportunities to grow and learn from others. Why not have a little fun? In no ranking order, here are a few of my all-time favorites with complex-rich characters: 1. “Fargo” - Seasons 1 & 2 were spectacular, but for recency’s sake, I’m going to have to go with season 5, pondering Ole Munch and the diabolical sheriff. 2. “Better Call Saul” - I’m in the minority of those who love this prequel to “Breaking Bad” more than “BB.” Sometimes called a “slow burn,” the only thing “slow” about BCS are the viewers too impatient to witness fascinating character development. 3. “The Americans” - To defect or not to defect? Philip and Elizabeth Jennings as Communist Russian spies in 1980s U.S.A. simultaneously endear and repulse. 4. “Justified” - This series about U.S. Marshals in Southeast Kentucky considerably exceeds any preconceived expectations. Olyphant, Goggins, Searcy, and Pitt are spectacular. 5. “Succession” - I’m not quite finished watching this paradigm of prestige, but hanging out with Tom and Greg trumps hanging out with the Roys. 6. “Gilmore Girls” - You may only judge if you’ve actually watched a few episodes of this witty gem whose fast-talking script doubled the amount of pages of mainstream 1-hour shows. 7. “True Detective” - Season one. Enough said. #complexity #writinglife #characterdevelopment #television #prestigetv #fargo #bettercallsaul #theamericans #justified #succession #gilmoregirls #truedetective
