Today is #InternationalJokeDay and we couldn’t miss sharing a joke from our very own Evan Wimpey. 😂 𝗤: How many data scientists does it take to screw in a light bulb? 𝗔: Just 1, but he needs thousands of already-screwed-in light bulbs for training. 😆 Keep the laughter going by sharing a joke below! 👇 Check out Evan’s book, “Predictable Jokes,” at predictablejokes.com, and be sure to catch his interviews with data leaders on our Mining Your Own Business podcast.

If you are a frequent professional (or recreational) traveller or mining Fly-In-Fly-Out type of work, there is a mountain of valuable information in this podcast about jetlag and how to offset its impact. What I love about Huberman's podcasts is that he doesn't just tell you what to do but instead how things work inside your brain and body; and this is priceless to understand mechanisms and be autonomous in making changes depending on your situation. Also, he has a capacity to vulgarize medical and scientific content to make it very easily understandable. My key take-aways are: - Light exposure timing - Understanding you minimal body temperature to shift your clock - Travelling East Vs. West (and North vs South for travel fatigue) - Facts about Melatonin Pour les francophones, la retranscription est excellente et le texte peut être traduit facilement ;)

Before choosing a new tool or model, it’s helpful to think about: 1️⃣ The degree of accuracy: How accurate is the tool or model known to be? 2️⃣ The cost of a mistake: What will be impacted if the wrong decision is made? John shares more lessons he’s learned in the latest episode of Mining Your Own Business.
